If you have ever attended a city sponsored event, then you have likely been in the presence of Mrs. Bonnie King-Moran. Whether she is dressed up as Mrs. Claus for the tree lighting ceremony at Losner Park or lending a hand taking pictures at a ribbon cutting event, Bonnie tirelessly gives of herself for the City of Homestead and its residents. To show the city’s appreciation, Mayor Jeff Porter presented this active citizen with a certificate of appreciation during a special presentation at the December City Council meeting.

“Bonnie is a great supporter of all our events and we’re blessed to have her help on a day to day basis. A while back, Bonnie drafted a letter to the President of the United States informing him of our Centennial. The president actually responded so we had his letter mounted and framed so that she may cherish it for years to come.” Mayor Porter then presented King-Moran with the handsome keepsake along with a Certificate of Appreciation from the City of Homestead.
