This year’s annual City of Homestead Fourth of July celebration at the Homestead-Miami Speedway was the biggest and best one yet. Councilwoman Judy Waldman, Chairwoman of the Parks and Recreation Department, who spearheaded the organization of the event, honored the dedicated planning team of City staff, and the sponsors, who made the Race to the 4th event a success.

Each of these committed employees gave countless hours of their time and effort to make this a truly memorable day! We also thank our sponsors because their generosity helped us create this incredible event for our community.” said Councilwoman Waldman during the Race to the 4th Special Presentation at the August Homestead City Council meeting.
