Homestead is set to witness a momentous occasion as the Demolition Kick Off for the Homestead Sports Complex takes place on Thursday, June 15 at 10 am at the park located at 1601 SE 28th Ave, Homestead, FL 33035. The sprawling 130-acre facility, which has served as a landmark for sports enthusiasts, is set to undergo a transformative renovation that will bring an array of exciting amenities to the local community.

The Homestead Sports Complex has been an integral part of the Homestead community for years and will become a cherished destination and hub for sports and recreational activities. The highlights of Phase 1 of the revamped Homestead Sports Complex include:

The master plan development will be broken out in phases to culminate into a vibrant hub for sports, fitness, and leisure activities, offering state-of-the-art facilities such as baseball and softball fields, artificial turf lighted soccer fields, competition running track, basketball, pickleball, and beach volleyball court, and rubberized running track. The park will also receive upgrades such as kids’ playground, lakeside picnic pavilions, open play area, event stage, restroom and concession building, shaded spectator seating, walking paths, and public art.
