If so, the Homestead Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is hosting the Lunch & Learn for Small Businesses in partnership with the Miami Bayside Foundation. The event will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at FourEight Restaurant located at 48 N. Krome Ave, Homestead, FL, 33030 from 12:00 p.m. through 1:30 p.m.
This free event will offer business owners an amazing opportunity to advance in the ever-changing business environment. The topic of the afternoon will be Access to Capital. In this session, attendees can expect to learn educational information such as the types of financing options, how to understand SBA loans, and projections. They will also learn the 7 Key Steps to Success in Business Development. The knowledge that attendees will learn is invaluable. The Community Redevelopment Agency and Miami Bayside Foundation's goal is to empower and grow businesses within the South Dade community.
The Miami Bayside Foundation (MBF) is a nonprofit organization designed to advance economic development in Miami through the support of minority businesses and education. They do this through the creation and administration of loan programs for minority businesses, through the creation of programs and educational scholarships for minorities, and by providing technical assistance to minority-owned businesses.
At the event, Miami Bayside Foundation will explain who they are, what they do, and how to apply for funding. Business owners who believe they are ready to apply for funding are encouraged to bring a business plan and projections. Miami Bayside Foundation representatives will be available to meet one-on-one after the presentation.
