Hundreds of Waterstone residents attended the Resident Appreciation Day at the Waterstone Grand Clubhouse on Saturday, April 27, 2013.
“Events like this one are a wonderful way for the Waterstone Master Association to show their appreciation for their residents,” said Councilman Maldonado, who is a resident of the Waterstone Community. “I am honored to have been part of this event and that Mayor Steven Bateman and Councilwoman Patricia Fairclough-McCormick also attended to get to know better the Waterstone community."
The Waterstone Resident Appreciation Day included bounce houses, clowns, a dance performance by Expressions Dance Academy, a Martial Arts demonstration by CSD Martial Arts Academies, a Homestead Police Department K-9 demonstration, and Motorcycle Unit display.
Councilman Maldonado, Mayor Steven C. Bateman, and Councilwoman Patricia Fairclough-McCormick were present at the event each with a table filled with information about the City of Homestead services, parks and events and also took the opportunity to get to know the residents.
