Candidates, campaign workers and politically active citizens involved in local elections are encouraged to attend the “Clean Campaign Class” sponsored by the Miami-Dade Commission on Ethics and Public Trust and the Miami-Dade County Department of Elections on Thursday, August 8, 2019 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Homestead City Hall (100 Civic Court, Homestead, FL 33030). The two-hour seminar will feature representatives from the Ethics Commission and the Elections Department who will provide essential information to avoid legal pitfalls, correctly raise and report funds, properly keep records and understand the legal and ethical obligations of seeking public office. The class is free and open to the public.
