During a special presentation of the March 20th Homestead City Council meeting, Vice Mayor Jon Burgess recognized the Greater Homestead/Florida City Chamber of Commerce for their work on the 19th Annual Chili Cook-Off and Outhouse race.
“This year’s chili cook-off event was the best one yet, with more chili entries than years past and with an exciting and interesting outhouse race,” said Vice Mayor Burgess. ”This is a great way to bring our community together and I want to thank the Chamber for their efforts and hard work in organizing and executing this wonderful community event.”
Homestead/ Florida City Chamber of Commerce Chairman of the Board Elizabeth Moscynski, Executive Director Rosa Brito, and Board of Directors Chair of special events Larry Roth were presented with certificates of appreciation by Vice Mayor Jon Burgess for this year’s Chili Cook-Off and Outhouse race held on March 2nd
“Thank you Vice-Mayor, Mayor and Council for honoring the Chamber today,” said Executive Director Rosa Brito. “It is indeed a pleasure to put on this event every year, which helps us raise funds for the Chamber of Commerce and its many programs that benefit our community.”
