Councilwoman Patricia Fairclough and Florida International University's Linda Fenner 3D Mobile Mammography Center are offering free mammograms from 12PM to 6PM on Wednesday, October 24th at City Hall, 100 Civic Court, Homestead, FL 33030.  Mammograms are available by appointment only by calling 305-224-4456 to register.

To be eligible for a free mammogram, women must:
  • be 40 years old or above;
  • be uninsured; 
  • have not had a mammogram in the last year; 
  • have no history of breast cancer; 
  • have no breast symptoms such as lumps or bumps, nipple discharge, skin changes, or changes in the appearance of your breast such as dimpling, swelling, or shrinkage; 
  • not be pregnant or breastfeeding; 
  • and live in Miami-Dade County.
Women participating in the free mammogram program must also bring a picture ID and their most recent mammogram on CD (if applicable).
