Network with staff and other vendors while learning about valuable resources to assist your business at the 2018 Homestead Vendor Outreach Event on Thursday, April 19th 9AM-12PM at the Phichol Williams Community Center located at 951 SW 4th Street, Homestead, FL 33030. The City of Homestead Procurement and Contracts Division and Miami-Dade County Small Business Development-Internal Services Department jointly present this year’s event as a way to encourage local organizations to do business with Homestead and Miami-Dade County.
The Outreach Event will begin with a brief welcome and presentation from Homestead and Miami-Dade County on the procurement process and expected needs of the City and County as they grow. Attendees will then have the opportunity to meet with representatives from end-user departments to better understand their needs and more effectively target services and products. They will also be able to identify contracting opportunities and take advantage of subcontracting opportunities on public-private partnerships. City of Homestead Procurement Staff will be on-site to assist vendors with first-time registration and to check for errors or updates for those currently registered.
The City of Homestead Procurement and Contracts Division is responsible for obtaining products and services that offer the best value for the citizens. The Division works closely with other City Departments to ensure the highest level of professionalism, ethics, and integrity is evidenced in the procurement process.
