The City of Homestead would like to alert former Homestead Public Services (HPS) customers to unclaimed refunds available through the State of Florida Division of Unclaimed Property at www.fltreasurehunt.org. Some former customers have reported receiving letters from outside agencies requiring services fees to claim refunds. No payment is necessary to retrieve unclaimed refunds directly from the State of Florida. The City of Homestead and HPS are not associated with any outside agencies requesting service fees for unclaimed refunds.
