Find City Departments: Where Are We Located?

Overview

The City of Homestead has many locations. While most of our departments can be found at City Hall, a few are in other locations throughout the city. Use this page to find out where to go to get the services you need.

City Hall

City Hall houses:

Development Services, which works to implement practical solutions on issues associated with comprehensive planning, zoning, plans review, building inspections, business tax receipts, growth management, neighborhood and environmental planning, urban design, sustainability, and economic development.

City Clerk, which processes: codification of all ordinances and resolutions. legal documents that are adopted by the City Council, lien searches and public records requests, and vehicle titles and registrations.

Customer Service Department, which handles all concerns related to your Homestead Public Services account. In order to better serve you, this Department is accessible online or over the phone.

Human Resources, which hires new employees and posts open positions in addition to providing services in personnel, labor relations, insurance, and safety.

Public Works is responsible for planning, building, and managing the city’s infrastructure to ensure that rights of way, roadways, water supply, treatment of water and wastewater, and solid waste services are accomplished in a safe and environmentally friendly manner in order to support the community's well being and growth.

Public Information Office, which provides residents and the media information about news, events, and other City projects.

The City Manager is responsible for implementing the City Council's priorities and objectives and for effectively delivering exceptional services, projects, and programs to the citizens of Homestead.

Community Redevelopment Agency

The goal of the Community Redevelopment Agency is to improve neighborhood conditions within the CRA area and they provide incentives to businesses within this area.

Parks & Recreation

The Parks & Recreation Department is responsible for the everyday operation and maintenance of our City's many beautiful parks. The Department also offers recreational and educational programs for youth, adults, and senior citizens. Police

The Homestead Police Department is committed to community service. The department works in partnership with the citizens of the City of Homestead toward providing a safe environment and improving the quality of life consistent with the values of the community.
